May 2, 20206 yr Hello, please if someone can advise me according my Nvidia Graphics card. My specs are, i7 6700k, 4,5 Ghz, 32 GB Ram, 1080ti. If I want to upgrade soon to RTX3080ti should it be worth for the upcoming MSFS2020? thank you
May 2, 20206 yr I don't think anyone can give you a straight answer since the game is not released yet and it's definitely not optimized in any way in it's Alpha form. You already have a powerful card so my suggestion is to wait until the game is released and test it on your 1080Ti, if you don't like the performance then you can upgrade.

That’s the best advice for sure..No sense In Playing a guessing game with something that isn’t released yet ! May 2, 20206 yr You are already in the Alpha so you probably know what kind of GPU will be needed to satisfy you. Nobody has any idea how well the RTX 3080 Ti will perform because there hasn't been any sort of announcement, either the architecture or the gaming line-up, so there's not much point in asking now. The only sort of information we have now are leaks suggesting that it will perform 30-40% better in rasterisation over the RTX 2080 Ti. But things can change, like NVIDIA swapping foundries once already.
May 2, 20206 yr And with a 1080Ti you're already on ideal specs. It's similar on performance or even better than the recommended RTX 2080. The 1080Ti was and is one of the best cards manufactured and still a beast.
May 2, 20206 yr No guarantee the 3080Ti will hit the stores this year the 3080 more likely. Edited May 2, 20206 yr by G-RFRY Raymond Fry.
