Did you update only the client? I did a fresh install using the setup program and haven't yet (knock on wood) had a vcruntime error.

I am on a fresh install as well.  I completely uninstalled P3D v5 and all addons before trying HF2, so this is with the full installer and I am slowly adding the addons one at a time.  I am going to try to uninstall/reinstall all of the Visual C++ Redistributables this evening to see of that makes a difference.

The unhandled exception just prior made me wonder if antivirus might be a factor? I have exceptions in my anti-virus and firewall for all of my P3D-related folders, but there are so many places where program data can be stored that maybe I am missing a something.

That's exactly what I'm thinking but the thing I don't get is why it's suddenly just started in the last week?

@fluffyflopsHope the recent GSX updates don't have something to do with this

thanks what time thinking.  ive never had them until updating GSX.  sure when v5 was released I was getting the change view ctds on the pmdg 747 but that was fixed in HF2.

This vcruntime CTD only happens when using GSX and thats it nothing else and only in the last week.

Not a fix. Turns out Lockheed Martin will have to make a Fix

So let`s get this strait you get this when using GSX and it`s LM that needs to fix GSX.

Raymond.  There is a ton more on this issue on this forum and others.  This bug effects ANY program that uses the p3dv5 text menu system.  Which gsx does.  But other ones like active sky, default atc etc are all effected.

Its been pointed out to you before that this issue occurs even using the default ATC window.
