It looks like MSFS is still planned for a 2020 release

we both and a couple of people here know that but i am afraid that the majority of people in different forums don't! 😉

I don't know where you're seeing this but I can't think of one person that thinks they'll run the sim looking that good on minimum specs. Even on casual forums you see people saying things like "wow! this is going to kill my PC!"

Since this is an XBox-related announcement, should we expect that MS wants to also release FS2020 on their console this year?  Maybe as part of their initial line-up for the XBox Series X? I was expecting it to release much later than on PC, but I'm less sure now.

Xbox is a gaming platform that covers console and PC so its not indicating anything other than them wanting to have it ready for PC in 2020.

Yeah, Microsoft uses X-Box to refer both to console and PC now. It's a unified platform. If they want to specifically refer to either, they'll say PC (or Windows) or use the console's exact name (I.E. X-Box One, or Xbox Series X)

So the 150 third party that THEY invited on the MSFS platform are not needed and wasting there time and money.

No one is saying that. Did you even read the post.

Are you now clarifying that the game won't look like the trailers on minimum specs? Shocking revelation if true! Also have you never noticed that even the fancy trailers have shown bugs/flaws? Could it be that MS have shown us what the game looks like warts and all? Why is it that so many of the Alpha screenshots look just as good as stills from those trailers?

He thinks everybody is hyped because of the E3 trailer... that tells a lot. He is completely out of the loop. He missed all the updates and discovery series.

I wouldn’t bother. Every now and then people will show up here with such arguments.
