I suspect you’re not using the AIG package as there are Flybe flights on your board. Those have already gone with the AIG updates. UT Live perhaps?

TG AI when it`s final I will edit it to the way I want it, I like the interface when finished will have more import and edit aircraft, and you have total control over what you see and where.

Are you saing that AIG updates delete airlines you have already downloaded? I thought removing old airlines was up to the user?

No. It’s down to the user for any airlines shown as DEFUNCT. Fear not Pete, you still have a choice whether to keep them or not.

So if AIG updates remove defunct airlines are there still 747-400 in the AI or like the real world have they been removed.

I'm still wondering what would happen with new flightplans for 2020 .... will we see empty skies because of this CoVID-crapola?

At the moment the guys flying with live traffic are little alone i guess. Good for MSFS, it will perform well with nearly non-existent AI ...

Something to be born in mind if users of AIG have updated to Winter 2019 flightplans is that, according to AIG, these may not be updated to their respective Summer 2020 equivalents.

This could lead a lot of Summer destinations for airlines like TUI UK potentially quite barren as I discovered at the weekend. TUI don't have Winter flights to LEIB and LEMH, with LEPA severely reduced. 

However, the good news is that the Summer 2019 flightplans can be manually downloaded and installed retrospectively which is what I did for all of the TUI companies that were currently on their Winter 2019 flightplans.

It doesn't remove them. It simply identifies them as defunct. It's a user choice if they wish to keep them. And the list is by airline, not aircraft type.

Agreed. I don't think it's possible to remove individual airlines in UT Live. Hard to say how real-world plans will be handled in FS20. As things stood the day before lockdown started would be acceptable until things become clearer.

Flybe are still fully active on my PC in P3Dv4.5HF2. I have a manually installed custom AI database, so the only person that gets to make decisions regarding airline removals is me!

That`s the best thing about AI you pick what you want to see.

Very easy to do in UTL, you can deactivate them by airline code.

They will rely their AI on live traffic data, at least thats what they stated in interviews.

That will be interesting to see as up to now MS has never used real world airlines in the AI something to do with copyright.

I have v1.2 purchased after I got fed up with MyTraffic6. The models were a lot better and I was happy with it until I was pointed to AIG. Never looked back after that and I keep UTL purely for P3D v3. I don't profess to being an expert on UTL but I've never seen how to modify the supplied airlines. Maybe it's only available for a later version.
