They may not be compatible. There is a different digital version signature in the headers of the compiled models after all.

MSFS2020 (sorry Wobbie!) will supoort these models and allow them to be flown in legacy mode - and tweaked 😉 in the new sim - so why not?

No I have not, but its a pointless discussion, if you want to fly a FSX addon in MSFS then....well good luck. Legacy mode! great!

Hey man, I'll fly a house brick in MSFS if I can get it up to V2.

If it's possible to get it airborne - I will.

But then again - I never wanted to be an Airbus driver - sitting at home pretending to be an airline pilot. . .

Parachuting guys over occupied territories, at night, in the C47, flying CAP over far flung places in the East in the Crusader, flying dodgy cargo in to horrendous approaches in South America in the DC-7 in beastly weather.

Would you please take your opinion somewhere else?

I asked if anyone knew for certain if FSX and/or P3D aircraft would work in the new sim. 

If you know the answer then please do tell.  Otherwise...

No one knows for sure officially and MS/Asobo hasn't said.  Unofficially, people are constrained from talking about it by the NDA, and forbidden by the NDA to even try it out.  It literally forbids testers from modifying game files.

If it works, and I have no idea myself, a legacy aircraft will not have all the data necessary to use the modern flight model, so it would have to be using the legacy flight model.  We can't even be sure the legacy flight model will make it to the release version.
