October 11, 20205 yr Thanks! I was really looking forward to it. I have seen that in the configuration options, clicking on the options/parameters is not perforfing any changes on the UI. For instance I want to set a custom TTS voice and when I click on that, nothing happens, except the clicking sound. I can´t change the "talk to ATC controllers" feature either. In general the UI seems to not react to the mouse click commands. But changing mce.ini worked, so it seems something related to the tool UI itself. Do I need to set something to enable this? I´m running it as admin and I´m familiar with the tool as I own the Ultimate edition for P3D5. So far I only have FS2020 installed in this machine. I did a fresh install. Cheers Edited October 11, 20205 yr by geloxo

October 11, 20205 yr I have the AppStore edition. Currently I just have FS2020 installed. I did a fresh windows install yesterday indeed, so nothing from the old P3D5 setup I had before is on my PC now. I deactivated the old tool version before to avoid problems as well. Tool works well, it connects to the sim and the copilot talked to announce the V1 and rotate. It´s just that the UI is not reacting to the mouse clicks except for the fact that it reproduces the sounds when clicking. Cheers Edited October 11, 20205 yr by geloxo

I installed P3dv4.5 and all my Orbx and F1 aircraft. I also installed the MS version of the Deluxe MSFS. So not Steam. So running MCE (latest) with P3d 4.5, no issues. Full access to all MCE UI Tabs. Running MCE with MSFS I saw that I couldn't select any tabs on the UI except the Vox Script. Now I'm not advising you to do anything. Ill just say what I've done on my system. I have full admin privilege's on the MSFS executables. I have full admin on all MCE files. I disable Win 10 anti virus for MSFS and MCE. I have a dual monitor set up. A small old 1024 Acer for my maps and for placing MCE UI and my flight sim monitor, a 32" running in WHD. I run main monitor in full screen. 1. I open SimBrief, load flight plan from there into MSFS. 2. Open LittleNavMap and load flight plan from MSFS into LNM. 3. I then open MSFS. 4. Then load flight plan, from MSFS planner screen and proceed to tarmac. 5. Once in aircraft on tarmac I load MCE. 6. Then I wait two/three minutes. I dont touch anything. Just sit there and do nothing for a couple of minutes. This allows MSFS to load everything and for MCE to start "Talking" to MSFS...Its not instantaneous...remember QW and PMDG..wait till the aircraft has initialized. Then try the MCE UI. It should be 100%. Key is waiting for everything to initialize. We dont get any message to say MSFS is still loading...but it is! Takes a while! Hope this helps...Took me a week to realize that I must wait for the sim to get going! Regards David
October 12, 20205 yr Hi. I have UAC disabled in windows and I have admin rights as I´m the only user, but anyway I tried to run sim as admim (via right click on app shortcut) and also MCE and I still have the same problem. Indeed I noticed something new: once on the runway with tool working, connected and the "MCE ready" message displayed on the screen, if I click on "Enable All" button in the General tab, all options are activated for some seconds, the tool prints the message "Please wait while getting data from current aircraft" on its window and then the options are disabled again, comming to the same status they were before clicking the "Enable All" button. Cheers

Cheers I am assuming you didn't overide folders permissions. I suggest the following... Reset UAC to default setting (2 notches up). Restart computer for changes to take effect. Start FS 2020 normally. No need to start as admin. Wait until plane is ready to fly. Switch to desktop (ALT + ENTER_ and start MCE. Go back to full screen mode in FS. Once you see "ready to go", wait for a minute or so before assuming interface is ready for interaction. Test the above scenario with default ASOBO plane, default livery in order to rule out unknown mods and such. Eventually, list all other add-ons you're running with FS 2020 Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com

Eventually, list all other add-ons you're running with FS 2020 Hi, Did that step by step with no results. I didn´t change permissions in folders (this is just a vanilla Windows + FS2020 fresh install). I used 152 Aerobat and I don´t have any mods installed nor external tools running in the backgroud. But the UI is responding well. Is just that some areas inside it are not working (the ticks for enabling and disabling options). I can switch from one tab to the other and I can also edit the mce.ini and those changes take effect on the tool, so the tool works. The ticks are the problem. It looks as if those areas inside the UI were not getting any input from the mouse. I never had such problem nor in FSX nor in P3D. Just to discard other sources of errors: could it be related to the licence? I have copied the old license file you gave me when I purchased the ultimate edition for P3D5. Computer HW is the same anyway, as I didn´t change nor upgrade anything. I didn´t get any error message nor new activation required, but just in case... Could it be possible that in the demo those features are disabled and I´m not running the licensed version and just the demo version? Cheers

In "Sim" tab, all options are intentionally disabled because they don't apply to FS 2020. Usable in FSX & P3D only. To be honest, very little if any testing was done with planes that we don't consider worthy of being multi crewed. Will have a look at that specific plane. Try a different plane like A320, 747, B787, King Air, Cessna Longitude, as these are where you need co-pilot most. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com

But wait a couple of minutes before booting MCE. Then wait a little whilst MCE talks to the sim. I still think it takes MSFS a while to fully initialise it's aircraft. Also try from a cold and dark start up. Importantly, can you select MCE checklists? That checklist feature was unavailable to me at first, now I can select the checklist and have our FO run through them. I am at a loss to suggest anything else. You could try uninstalling MCE from Control Panel. Then reinstall and run the reset to factory. Then run the Wizard. Cheers.
October 13, 20205 yr Tried all your suggestions and nothing. Today I got the game update to 1.9.5, a cumulative update for windows 10 1909 and a Net Framework update as well. I have visual c++ since 2005 to 2019 versions also installed. Tested it with the Airbus, waited like 3 minutes and got same results as past days: anything outside the red square reacts to mouse clicks. Anything inside red square not, as shown in the next picture. It´s the same in all tabs. That area seems to be disabled to my user input and just plays the clicking sound. https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipN61JE01tHHrMm0UNm8ye7F72zS7rbkfIh_a6xx/photo/AF1QipNZjh2ccKLkpgc0-Rat4iHsyTWgtkhsFAs2a2nG And yes, I can select the checklist feature tab. Only difference I saw today was that selecting "Enable all" as in the picture above now activates all ticks and they are kept active. But anyway I can´t change them afterwards. Cheers
