Although I'm making progress on learning FMS navigation (and I'm kind of embarrassed that I haven't learned it after all the years in this hobby), I would STILL like to know if all of the Default  planes in MFS 2020 will be equipped with a DEFAULT GPS, as Microsoft did in the past?

From what I understand, some planes should have a fully functional G1000. Or not? 😄

What is "fully functional"?

Fully functional in that it does everything in the sim you can do with one in the real world. Have to wait and see if it actually is though.

That would be amazing, indeed..

Bert

Yeah, it would be amazing considering that Flight1's fairly realistic (did not try it) rendition of the G1000 is about $250. I wouldn’t hold my breath but you can never be sure.

If you cant enter user waypoints directly into it , then I pass!   Just kidding.. I expect it to function at a level somewhere around laminar's. sids stars airways approaches. but not every function a rw g1000 has. just the (this is useless without it) features. If it can fly a HILPT properly then its gone beyond my wildest dreams.

[XP11 BETA/FS2020 BETA] [Pilotedge BETA/Vatsim BETA]

The cockpit episode wasn't completely clear, but the phrase, "This is now full simulated and operational," when describing the touchscreens. Seems promising?

From what Ive seen and remember, the G1000, G3000, and G5000. The Airbus had a FMS, and Im assuming as will the 747 and 787.

New Caravans and C172 have the G1000

as does the Beechcraft G36, and G38

Cessna Citation Longitude has the G5000

Now the CJ4 has an FMS and Rockwell Collins Pro Line so.... I have NO idea what has the the G3000 in it other than the TBM

Hmm. They got the implementation of 8.33 kHz channel spacing wrong right from the start so I wonder what other „surprises“ we‘ll find cockpit wise. But I’m an optimist. 😎
