July 19, 20205 yr Yes, I would expect you to need an Xbox Live Gold subscription for online multiplayer for the Xbox console version. All games on the console require the Live Gold subscription for multiplayer, unlike on the PC.

Do you know anything? MSFS has an offline mode so I imagine you'll be able to play without a gold subscription but you won't be able to play multiplayer.
