July 30, 20205 yr This can only help sell more copies. Adding features usually never hurts. Especially when, if you don't want to use that feature, you don't have too. 10850K, MSI Unify Z490, 32gb G.Skill Ripjaw 3600 CL16, MSI 5700 XT 8gb, Nochua NH-U12a, WD 500gb Black SSD (OS- Windows 10 Pro), Samsung 2tb Evo plus SSD (games), Superflower 850 watts power supply
July 31, 20205 yr This is the news I've been waiting for. Now what headset to get the HP Reverb G2, the new Oculus or another model?
August 1, 20205 yr I wonder whether it makes any difference to order from Microsoft or Steam? (Especially for VR on my Reverb G2 ) PC=9700K@5Ghz+RTX2070 VR=HP Reverb| Software = Windows 10 | Flight SIms = P3D, CAP2, DCS World, IL-2, Aerofly FS2

August 3, 20205 yr Sounds like it is going to be on WMR software at launch so Microsoft are going to need to do a lot of work to make sure it even close to the quality of Oculus. I'm using WMR at the moment on the Reverb and it is ok. You can even bring desktop windows into the sim but compared to Oculus it is pretty rough.
August 16, 20205 yr I’m using the Reverb gen 1,largely with DCS and in my view it is simply stunning. Can’t wait to see how it looks with MSFS 2020. Gen 2.0 does sound a little better but I’m not trading up. I have found in P3D and X plane 10 the VR thing simply doesn’t perform at a reasonable frame rate unless I take the settings back to the original MSFS. Cant wait for this one though, I’m hoping it’s a great improvement.
