August 18, 20205 yr Oh wow! I had no idea people still printed out manuals. I last did that in about 1994. And I last read a manual in 1989. 😉 I do hope that was sarcasm 'bout it being a major screwup. About 1 out of a 1000 purchasers will care. #notascrewup

If the OP want's one in print form that's his business, not yours nor mine, The fact is that not including ANY type of manual (either printed or digital) is a major MS screwup. And I'm not being sarcastic. I've been around this business long enough to know that the lack of any sort of written documentation is going to cause a lot of folks to just give up in frustration. August 19, 20205 yr Author I like having a manual I can peruse whilst in bed etc. But unless I csn flick through some sort of manual (on screen or paper) I wont know about things I don;t know about as I wouldnt know they existed! Alan
August 19, 20205 yr Shouldn't need much of a manual if they make it intuitive and provide enough tips and help in the interface. But given the amount of people I see struggling to map their controls, it would suggest not. ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.
August 19, 20205 yr There's already several instructive videos out there with step-by-step procedures, in lieu of a manual: These include initial set-ups, and basic flight operations...

August 19, 20205 yr Author As it happens I do know this and have been looking at a few excellent videos on Youtube (Squirrel?) But I still like looking at something with an index! I get messages like 'Altimeter Incorrectly Set' (I paraphrase). How am I meant to know what that means, why its there and what I'm supposed to do about it. Many programs do not come suppled with a manual, but do either have a downloadable PDF, a comprehensive on line help system, or both Alan
