August 19, 20205 yr I'm trying to configure a profile in Logitech G-Hub so that I can map keyboard commands to mouse buttons or macro keys on my gaming keyboard. Microsoft seems to have tried very hard to hid the name/location of the executable. Anyone have any tips on how to find the name of the main executable so that I can setup G-Hub to auto-detect when I'm running Flight Sim 2020? /Dave

August 28, 20205 yr well a few minutes ago I turned off my kaspsky firewall then click the fs2020 desktop icon and a windows defender message said allow access to flightsimulator.exe location was E:\1\flightsimulator.exe when E:\ drive is my system reserved drive there no folder there called E:\1 so it must be hidden I should have made a screenshot to prove this aswell
August 28, 20205 yr I remember somebody said it was on C:\Program Files\Windowsapp but that folder is protected and I can't even enter it. Quite annoying because I need to do the same for my logitech mouse. It needs to be able to locate the main flightsimulator.exe ASUS ROG Maximus Hero XII ▪︎ Intel i9-10900K ▪︎ NVIDIA RTX 3090 FE ▪︎ 64GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ▪︎ Windows 10 Pro (21H1) ▪︎ Samsung 970 EVO Pro 1TB NVME SSD (OS Drive) ▪︎ Samsung 860 EVO 2TB SATA SSD ▪︎ Seagate 4TB SATA HDD ▪︎ Corsair RMx 850W PSU
August 28, 20205 yr Hi all, Where ever you installed the simulator must be a folder "WindowsApps". Here you find the folder "Microsoft.DigitalOwnership_1.0.1.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe" look here for the FlightSimulator.exe. You need special permission for the WindowsApps folder. This helped me to gain access to it: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/what-is-windows-apps-hidden-folder-and-why-cant-i/40a60508-c409-422a-af92-bd51fe5a4ca9 Good luck Mick PC: Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite, AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4080 Super Aorus Master, DDR5 G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 2X32 GB, Corsair HX 1000, Fractal Torrent, Samsung LC32 / G7 1440P.

September 8, 20205 yr Anyone have luck getting Logitech Ghub to pickup FS2020? I was able to locate the .exe file and set the permissions of the WindowsApp folder however when I pick the Flightsimulator.exe from the Ghub, it says I don't have permissions. Also cannot launch it by opening that exe file. Anyone figure it out? Edited September 8, 20205 yr by n19htmare

I have not purchased any copies yet and I'm on the Xbox Game Pass for now. Still deciding if I should go with Steam or Microsoft version.
October 5, 20205 yr I found the .exe and modified permissions on the parent folders so I can access it. I was able to turn off full screen optimization, as advised elsewhere, but when I try to use ShuttleXpress to map certain commands to buttons (I assume ghub is similar) I am told I don't have permission to open the file. Any suggestions? Did OP ever get ghub to work with MSFS?
