Selecting pilot by gender

Recommended Posts

I'm a guy flying the C152 today, but all the ATC responses were in a girl's voice.  Is there a way to swap out a female pilot for a male?  I searched everywhere but couldn't find it.

Yes.  Options > General > MISC >  Pilot and Copilot Avatars

Yes it’s great to see a range of different pilots available, very inclusive.

are you serious

Are you addressing Curt with your question for wanting a male pilot response due to him being male, or are you asking MS if they are seriously implying that a 152 is a girls-only aeroplane by using a female pilot voice?

The avatar option changes the appearance, but the pilot voice is still female. Has anyone discovered how to get a male voice as the pilot?

Thanks

@antonmorse,  I have the same question.  Changing the avatar didn’t change the voice.  Sorry I can’t help.

I had a female voice when I was using offline voices, but when I switched to Azure voices, I switched to a male voice.

The unchangeable offline voice gender is a feature. Not a bug.

I came to this conclusion.
