Super Sampling can bring any powerful GPU to its knees...so should be used starting at the lowest setting and the user cranks it up, until they get in visuals what satisfies them, in using that feature. Super Sampling gives a very clean boundary between pixels...and polishes the output. If you can not use it at all...THAT is the best solution you can get. You only use it usually (most users) to clean up boundaries such as between land and water...terrain and auto-gen upon it...stuff like that. If you can get away without it...that is like 40x by not using it...lol! It is a FPS power sucker on high 'X' settings. Edited August 21, 20205 yr by Sesquashtoo

August 21, 20205 yr He probably means the Texture Supersampling option, which brings a negligible performance hit and makes no difference if Anisotropic Filtering is set to 16x.

Nice topic ty Not being a dev on the project, I can only imagine by the name is that it creates a composite layering (from the Azure Cloud) to create a more complex base for everything else that sits upon that layer. That is my understanding, and might not be right at all. I only know that I have that set as high as it can go..and that is part of what makes up my graphic output to the screen.

If that is the case..I'll turn it right off and see how that plays out against the pics that I already posted. I'll go back to that airport and do a few touch and go's...with it off.
