Centralized Location for Flight Simulator Add-Ons?

Featured Replies

Hello all,

With the amount of add-ons beginning to ramp up on for MSFS, I'm wondering if there's a centralized place to see what's available, links for purchase/download, and reviews for said content? Keeping up with all of the threads on each project will probably become unsustainable soon.

I know back in high school, when I first got interested in flight simulation (then fell off until recently), I used the AVSIM library, but it doesn't seem to have any FS2020 content, and I'm assuming it'll be mostly centered around small free-ware projects anyways, which is great too, but won't be a complete picture of the available add-ons.

I did start this the other day but the intention was for Marketplace only.  https://www.dpsimulation.org.uk/microsoft-flight-simulator-marketplace-directory.html

Obviously they can be viewed in the game anyway but someone did ask the question the other day about being able to view what was available without owning the game, there didn't seem to be a way to do that. I'm not sure adding non-Marketplace stuff is really that viable, there will be so much stuff to keep track of but i've considered it as an option.

That is exactly what I'm looking for, and already found a ton of stuff that I didn't know existed. Thanks!

Yah, who knows how much content the marketplace will have in the end, right now even some of Orbx content is missing in the marketplace.

Hopefully all of the Orbx content is brought to the marketplace; I think I'd read here on the forums that Microsoft/Asobo were freezing marketplace additions until September 1 due to technical issues, which may be why Orbx has released content which isn't on the marketplace.

Maybe that is the patch date also..

9900k@5GHz, 32GB@3200 RAM, Strix RTX 2080ti, VKB Gladiator mkii, VKB rudder pedals

Several download locations are collected here, there currently are seven and the list will probably grow.
