that's what I did and it works fine for me.  I have no problem where the problem started.  Maybe trueglass no longer plays nicely after some windows update or something.  But I'm now able to use the 787, MD88, and A330 with real light on and true glass off.

You know what gets me going is that I. Posted on then qw forums. And has been a couple of days now. Now i know it’s still in beta!
but not one response back stating it’s a possible bug with real light /true glass at the moment and that they are looking into it.

Nothing!!

thanks

Just started seeing this error as well a few days ago after installing the QW 787.  I was curious why it was happening as my VRAM situation was fine.  I was about to get the updated Maddog MD-80 but appears that also uses Trueglass.....🤔.

Yeah I think the 787 update may have been when mine started.  But I can't say for certain.  Which is a shame because of all my airplanes it's the one i fly the least by far.  I guess at this point i value real light way more than true glass.  Atleast that is working

Are you having issues with the MD-80 as well?  I cannot recall if you can disable Trueglass on that or not...it hass been a while since I had it installed back in v4....thnx!

It doesn't matter which plane.  Anyone like the MD80 which uses it.  FYI, I'm not turning it off on an aircraft level.  I'm just going into the V5/gauges directory and renaming trueglass.dll to trueglass.off.

How did it work out for you?

It seems like all you guys having Trueglass issues are running 1080Tis...is that, plus the driver in use the common denominator?

I don’t think it’s the driver as i did use the 446.14 driver with my 1080ti before I reinstalled P3d v5.

which I had installed qw 787 and had no issues.

and now after reinstall and the same driver And same addons and settings get these issues with true glass and real light.

I’m stumped.
