Don't you think it's a bit excessive to dig up five old threads from the grave and post your own video in all five? Oh hey and it's your first five posts here. Way to go with shameless self-promoting. Edited December 30, 20205 yr by JacquesBrel

Sometimes I just want to make a micro adjustment on the ground if I don't like where the plane is parked. This happened in FSX too, and took me a while to find the answer - if this happens in your setup, you need to disable your joystick before slewing and then re-enable afterwards, otherwise you go slewing away for miles in a second or 2. In FSX it was Ctrl-K to disable (and re-enable) the joystick.
July 21, 20214 yr What is "slew mode"? I have never figured this out. What's the difference between slew mode and drone mode and external view mode?
July 21, 20214 yr There is a big difference. Drone and external view modes control cameras, but do not affect the position of the airplane. Slew mode moves the plane itself to a new location.

March 18, 20224 yr OK, so to toggle Slew mode on off, press the Y key on your keyboard. Then, there are many key commands available to use in Slew mode. For a full listing of keyboard commands in MSFS 2020, browse https://www.gamesradar.com/microsoft-flight-simulator-2020-keyboard-controls/ Edited March 18, 20224 yr by CaptTim Updated link to an improved list

March 20, 20224 yr As others have mentioned up thread, removing all slew commands (except Y) from the keyboard and reassigning them to the controllers allows you to slew very slowly and very small distances or angles. Or very fast if you move the controller further on its axis (I use the pedals to slew the nose direction, yaw). Example: You are sitting at the end of a runway. Slew backwards. Then slew upwards. Now slew the yaw to point nose directly at the runway. Now you are ready to test a straight in landing. This is a very fast and easy method. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
