I suspect that, if nVidia truly thought that the .22 hotfix was necessary, it would appear in GeForce Exp. as an available driver update. It does not. GeForce Experience continues to display "You have the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver" (v452.06). I am sure that the hotfix is helpful to some, but I do not need it and will neither dl nor install it. This describes the hotfix in a nutshell: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5074 As the wise old sage, Yogi Berra, once said: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." September 9, 20205 yr Thanks, I see one of the .22 fixes was a ray tracing slow-down in Call of Duty (which could effect me potentially since I do play that one). But yea...I notice as you said that finding the hotfix for download is like pulling teeth over there. It's as if they don't want you to find or download anything on your own. They want you to have their proprietary Geforce Experience software installed (which I never do anymore as that's another app that can wreak havoc on game performance). Any way...to find both drivers without the GE software installed I had to pull some teeth by using Google search to point me to the correct page on Nvidia's site instead of just being able to use Nvidia's own site to begin with (LOL). September 9, 20205 yr It's worth checking guru3d.com for driver updates. Members there are on the ball, and there are often Vulkan or dev drivers to try if you wish to. There is also someone who slims them down and removes the bloat, if that is of any concern. Edited September 9, 20205 yr by Novation

From Guru3D: NVIDIA released a new hotfix driver that addresses and fixes issues with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Marvel's Avengers, some display issues as well as Minecraft Java Edition. I updated because of the underlined part. Had some stuttering in my browsers which showed up with the installation of 452.06. But then with 452.06 FS2020 performed better so... i installed the hotfix. But after the hotfix the browser stutter problem was still there. Turned out it was Corsair iCUE software playing up. Just yesterday I finally uninstalled icue after being annoyed by it's resource use for far too long. Kind of hard to tell if it had any effect on the sim but it's definitely nice to have it gone. I wish there was a light weight app to still have some rgb utility without all the nonsense running in the background.
