September 9, 20205 yr The latest one, I always update when a new one is available and I've have never had a problem with GPU drivers for many years. I was thinking about upgrading but I hesitate because in years passed it's never been advantageous to install the very newest drivers on older cards...in fact much of the time it used to actually hurt your performance and I'm concerned that perhaps I would be wasting my time. Guess I won't know until I take the time to test test test, but honestly I'm just not up to all the fiddling and then having to back track and reinstall old drivers again if the newer ones hurt me. Sometimes I used to think that the manufacturers purposely design their newest drivers to "help" old card owners make a move to a new card purchase 🙂 Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons

True, a few driver updates after the release of a range of cards it's useless to update if you don't have any problems. Most of the updates are for certain games. But...because 452.06 had an update for FS2020 so i took the plunge again and must say that there is definatly a difference between 452.06 and some before that release. FS2020 just runs better on 452.06, other stuff is the same. September 9, 20205 yr I am using the MSX2020 version of the 452.06 GTX 1080TI driver. No problem yet. The simulator works like I do when I set ULTRA I have 45-50 fps outside big cities. In big cities 30-35 fps. cheers Karoly Edited September 9, 20205 yr by oldboy1943

September 9, 20205 yr I don't know what the difference is between the hotfix version of .22 and .22 drivers. cheers Karoly

Seeing huge frame rate leaps upwards is very rare though, but I rather eliminate bugs with recent games, which is more of a concern.

I usually update my drivers upon their release and, as 452.06 was released 17 Aug. the day before MFS was officially released, I have not used any other drivers while flying. Thus, I cannot make a comparison regarding perceived gains. And, before that, I was using whichever driver was current at the time that 452.06 was released, I think it was v451.48 (released in June). i7-12700K; GF RTX 3080Ti 12 GB; MSI Z690 MB; 32 GB DDR5 4800Mhz (16x2); 850W 80+ Gold PS; 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD + 2 TB HDD @ 7200 + Kingston 4TB XS2000 USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Ext.
