September 10, 20205 yr This is a great podcast! Also goes to show that 99% of the people here at avsim have no clue on how to implement and design a consumer desktop flight simulator. September 10, 20205 yr Well, im about halfway through at 24 minutes or so and I have to admit, call me overly critical if you will but, thus far it's all sort of meaningless fodder from which I''ve learned nothing about MSFS. It's been all fluffy talk about one of the devs and his own thoughts and feelings about the hobby...woopy. Sorry don't mean to sound insensitive or rude as I'm sure they are all very nice fellows and fun to have a beer with...but from the title of the podcast I was thinking that I'd learn more about their reaction to OUR reactions, and the way forward...or at least some insight as to a sensible reason why things didn't go exactly as planned, as far as day one release. In fact so far they make it sound like no reaction whatsoever and that everything is fine and dandy...you know...typical PR crapola 🙂 I will have more time later to finish listnening...I'll assume that it gets much better past the halfway mark. They touch on the rationale behind releasing when they did. And they acknowledge release issues, but if you are looking for some admission of fault or falling on one's sword in someway, you are going to be disappointed. Sebastian was very candid about some of the challenges they had in the development process. Chris
