Do you have an idea on how I can change the color of the tail number?  There is a line near the end of each [FLTSIM.#] section that would appear to control it:

atc_id_color = "" ; color for the tail number : i.e. "#ffff00ff"

But I cannot get results when using it.  Always black. I understand the first six digits are the hex code for the color and the last two digits deal for the alpha channel. https://www.quackit.com/css/color/values/css_hex_color_notation_8_digits.cfm. I have tried using "f's" for white #FFFFFFCC, and #C0C0C0CC for silver, but all I get is black numbers.  Have tried CAP letters and have tried with and without the # character.  All to no avail.

Its all voodoo to me.  I'd be happy just to find a way to blank it and paint my own reg in.  Have not explored if there is an undocumented setting that says "Don't display it at all".
