Almost bought this except I get a Purchased Failed notification.  I saw the thread on here about installing the xbox beta app and rebooting.  No luck after that.

It sounds like its something to do with my account as the admin.  I'm not willing to change that though...  so maybe MS can fix their store.

I had this error prior patch. It said "payment" failed, but then when I restarted sim it changed to "owned". So the bottom line even though sim generate this error transaction still go through

Ray- the Mooney update should come from Carenado through the MSFSMP nicht?  Hoped that it would appear right after the patch, but maybe they are digesting first...

C

Yes, I checked a couple of times for the update to show up there.  Maybe later on today.

I setup payment cared within my MS account prior purchasing. So when I press buy all I have to do is to re-enter my password and select CC on file

Ok maybe that's the issue.  Where do I set that up?  In an app or online?

You have to link a credit card to your Microsoft Account in the Microsoft account manager.

Here is my list of bugs and wishes in M20R as of right now

1. AP NAV

2. Rudder trim indicator reversed with default rudder trim binding

3. Lack of documentation for fuel totalizer

4. Elevator trim too sensitive

5. Lack of documentation for power lite switches

6. Missing in game checklist

7. It would be nice to add "breathing mask sound" when oxygen is ON

8. When ALT source is ON , VSI gauges  should show instantaneous climb

I seriously doubt there will ever be more documentation coming from them.  We will just have to digest the update and go from there. I have not experienced any problems with the AP/VSI, this might be something that works a little different than you are expecting.  I am expecting all working switches to have text tool info.

Your airplane doesn't zig-zag after you engage AP NAV?

Also VSI is not an issue more like a wish. When you turn on ALT which is alternative source VSI arrow should show instantaneous climb and then settle. That how we test ALT in real life to know that it works

Yes it does and the headings are in 10 deg increments, but, I think that is a GNS problem and nothing to do with ALT and VSI.

Have you guys tried assigning a button or joystick button to change HDG?  I'm still trying to buy this dang thing haha

I didn't write anything about GNS and ALT VSI. I think I explained in the post above  ALT stands for "alternate static port" - a leverage below throttle marked as "ALT AIR PULL ON"

I am using external Saitek hardware and it works the same as the Mooney panel.  Carenado basically said that was fixed the first day they started on the update.  He make it sound like an easy fix to me.  I'm guessing they have been dragging there feet on the update to make sure they catch everything.  Just a guess.

Sorry, I read it as ALT.  My bad.  Is there an alternate static port in this model?

Well the leverage is there you can pull it when needed, For example if fly through icing and static port get clogged you may want to try your luck with alternate static source
