Meigs Field is probably one of the most impressive of the freeware available right now.. My man did an incredible job recreating a Flight Simulator icon

Oslo for me.. Guys put over 80hours into it. Considering it’s free there’s some payware devs out there that should be worried.

Dumb question, but how do these get installed? Where do the files go?

That file is only 89k. What am I missing?

For MS2020, most files go in the "Community" folder.

Just read up about finding your community folder, it varies depending on your installation method. Once you find it, drag and drop stuff into there. Its centralized compared to what we have had to do in previous sim titles.

The fact the developer managed to pull this off using zero custom assets..

ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING / i9-9900k @ 4.7 all cores w/ NOCTUA NH-D15S / 2080ti / 32GB G.Skill 3200 RIPJAWS / 1TB Evo SSD / 500GB Evo SSD /  2x 3TB HDD / CORSAIR CRYSTAL 570X / IPSG 850W 80+ PLATINUM / Dual 4k Monitors

As much as having historical Kai Tak (His method for "building" a Checkerboard made me laugh), and Meigs, appeals to me, I am much more interested in the work surrounding Grand Canyon and North Palm beach.  Both of those look excellent.

And only six weeks in.  Wow.

Sure FS9 had a lot on release, but that's because FS9 was basically FS8.5.  Not that I was really complaining.

Just fired up vanilla FS9 and FSX on my computer.  oof....You can't go home again.
