Cannot fathom it

Featured Replies

In fact, so many things I cannot really fathom about this breathtaking new project, but when I fly over the amazing new photogrammetry-based Tokyo, taking in all the visual splendor and amazing detail in an entirely smooth flight, knowing that this does not even scratch the surface about what MSFS has to offer now and in the future, I feel we are being spoiled. I am looking forward to the day that even the study-level simmers are content (I do get some of their sentiments), but the technology and immersion in its current state and the promise for what it might become, I do realise we have landed in a new era of flightsimulation. And we did not even have to wait that long, did we, considering the leap in technology.

But most of all, that I can enjoy all of this at global high settings (at 1080p) with my 10 year old i7 2600k, with 16GB DDR3 RAM and GTX960, that is most impressive of all.

Tokyo does look good, doesn't it?

I second that!

Agreed currently enroute doing the Japan tour in the King Air, I'm just south of Mount Fuji now with Tokyo behind it - camera's at the ready!!!

I flew over Tokyo and out to the beautiful Mt. Fuji which I climbed in real life when I was in the Marines.  Beautiful flight.

Same here, 767lover. But hey, you have higher settings on your pc, curious which improvements my new 1660 super will bring compared to my gtx560ti. At least I overclocked my i5-2500 for the first time since about 8 years and am already now happy with what I see and get. Can only get better

simmer since SubLogic days...

The number of Autogen buildings in Tokyo is simply unbelievable.  And all looking good, with reasonable framerates.

This is the modern engine at work, versus the pig w/ new lipstick applied with every incremental upgrade, and for only $200 apiece.  This project is just incredible, already.
