Asobo did say they have access to the engineers and designers you know. We're so used to the trash that what we might be seeing is how these planes actually are in real life. I find it hard to believe that Asobo couldn't take what the engineers told them and code it into the game. How many of these 3pd has the kind of access to some those planes that Asobo do?

And they said you can go everywhere in the world...After release i couldn't go to my hometown because the airport was just not modelled. But anyway....this discussion is a waste of time. Some people are having issues which you do not have/see. Lucky you but i still think the OP would appreciate some constructive input that might help him with this issue. Let's not do this 🙂
October 22, 20205 yr The way Asobo has modeled the AP seems to be closer to real life than other sims based on how the AP interacts with all of the other variables in the sim. Which is also why bug hunting the AP is so difficult. They likely could have gone a simpler less realistic route. It's no surprise that an IRL AP bug made its way into the sim. Of course, I'm sure it can still be improved upon but I suspect AP will never be "perfect" like other sims. AFAIK, no other sim models air flow to this level that it would affect the AP like in MSFS. Makes it harder to create a consistent AP. FSX | DCS | X-Plane 11 | MSFS 2020 | IL2:BoX Favorite aircraft currently: MSFS Savage Cub

They could have easily thought: "Hey let's do the APs in all aircraft in such a way so that they do exactly what the user is asking for. Go left? Do exactly that. Go right? Do exactly that without error. Wanna go up and down? Sure do it through FLC or VS and we will do exactly that, and we will implement the same thing for all aircraft, whether it's a GA prop or 747. This way, all the so-called "hardcore pro simmers" and video-gamers will be happy and never complain." Edited October 22, 20205 yr by EvidencePlz

They didn't realize what a ginormous task they took on by having custom AP modes for each aircraft. Asobo to some degree has to recreate AP logic for 30 aircraft with a team that numbers less than the team that creates AP logic for one aircraft in real life. Of course Asobo doesn't have to worry about killing simmers as much through a bad AP. Ah - you're the kind of person who posts Youtube videos. I've been involved in the certification and testing of various autopilot systems. They don't 'bob.' They get a bit pitchy but to post that video in response to the commonly reported issue of high frequency bobbing just demonstrates your ignorance. You keep saying that you're a pilot to show your authority - what types? I'm going to hazard a guess and say single piston props...... Edited October 22, 20205 yr by 2reds2whites

Let's not teach other people what to say and what not 🙂 Edited October 22, 20205 yr by ThomseN_inc Intel i9-13900K | Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Master | RTX4090 | 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 | Be quiet!
