October 27, 20205 yr Aside from the fact I can't get the sim to start at all at the moment, I actually haven't flown in snow since the sim was released. I'm waiting in the hope it will come naturally in Live Weather at some point so I can experience it as it's happening wherever I am. There's so much nice weather simulation in MSFS (even with the bugs) that I'm happy to wait. I've enjoyed flying through and above fog and clouds actually hanging in the treetops - pretty amazing for immersion. And there's the effect of your landing lights piercing the fog.👍 OS: Win11 Home; Mobo: Asus TUF Gaming Z690-Plus WiFi D4; CPU: Intel i5-12400 (Alder Lake) 4.4 GHzRAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 64Gb (4x16GB) 3600 MHz; GPU: MSI Radeon RX 5700XT [8GB] SSD: Corsair Force MP510 (for OS); 2x 1TB & 1x 2TB Sabrent Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 (one for sim, two for addons)HDD: Seagate 3TB (Data); Seagate 1TB (Programs), ASUS TUF Gaming VG32VQ1B Curved 31.5" monitor, 1440p, 38Mbs ethernet Fulcrum One Yoke, Honeycomb Bravo throttle, Thrustmaster Airbus TCA sidestick & throttle, Logitech Pro pedals, Xbox wireless gamepad (1st gen)

" this is why simulated, yet wrong weather, can sometimes be more fun than as real as it gets. you would not have flown there at today's weather: "The airport has several published non-precision instrument approaches. All are "circle-to-land;" the lowest gets you down to 2,000' AGL. All require three miles of flight visibility to continue below minimum descent altitude. These approaches often leave Aspen below minimums." besides: RESTRICTED TO MAXIMUM ACFT WINGSPAN OF 95 FT. Airbus A320: wingspan of 35.8 meters = 117.42 ft thanks for all the cookies. very welcome replacement for the delayed update 5. god you guys seem fun at parties. don't let anybody hold you back from playing the game

October 28, 20205 yr When at minimums the FAA has been known to sit in lawn chairs with binoculars watching the approach... SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.
