My System. Motherboard. ASRock Taichi X570 CPU Ryzen 9 3900x (not yet overclocked). RAM 32gb Corsair Vengeance (2x16) 3200mhz. 1 x Gigabyte Aorus GTX1080ti Extreme and a 1200watt PSU.

1 x 1tb SSD 3 x 240BG SSD and 4 x 2TB HDD

OS Win 10 Pro 64bit. Simulators ... FS2004/P3Dv4.5/Xplane.DCS/Aeroflyfs2...MSFS to come for sure.

I know it's a pain, but I guess this is a great way for me to cull all the liveries I had, and learn more about how to do liveries....

This game just loves to teach me more and more.

Did some testing with the new patch today and it does indeed look like the issue with a unique model folder for every livery, has been fixed!

I removed all the model.x (1-9) folders for the Turbo Bonanza V3, as well as the model.N1533W folder for my repaint, then set all the [FLTSIM.x] entries in the aircraft.cfg file to have the line:

model = "" ; model folder

(just how it used to be in olden times) ...and all the liveries including mine now show up just fine again, at least in the hangar!
