Was this done by drone and if so, how does one set it up?

I dont know Martin. I was going to look at their site in a little while.

I am longtime fan of these by Neil Birch which goes back to FS2002.

https://store.flightsim.com/vendor/neils-tours/

flightsim.com has a lot of these strips one by one (not a package) for free. Neils tours UK farm strips vol 1 installs 50 airfields with one mouseclick. Most of these are in the sim already but some are so tiny and unknown that they are not.

The upgrades are all minor however because the strips themselves have almost no buildings or facilities in real life. Neil just adds a windsock, maybe a couple planes and a person or two standing around. And most of those are stock figures, not custom. Still I recomend them.

edit: oh, and he has a diagram of each of the tiny fields and telephone number to call for each field and so forth like real charts. I'm not sure if the telephone numbers are the real thing.

That long, didnt know. Thats good so one doesnt need all the airfields and they

do single fields... 50 a bit more than i would use

Thx.

yeah  oddly enough those small changes really make a difference...  if you are looking for many of these little airfields  (maybe you use OnAir or similar)  just the addition of a windsock is a real good indicator as to which field is the actual airstrip...  I know it's not much, but it can help a great deal to see a plane on the ground and a windsock 🙂

Yes. A few little extras and people here and there make suprising more immersion.🙂

I noticed this was already posted a short while ago ( i missed it!)

BTW Just to mention to anyone interested there is an update V3 around NOV 4 however. ( i think

cannot find it now - thought i saw something like that. Anyways will check later😊

change info

Actually v3 was another package of different airfields than the first pack. 50,21, and 20 in v1,v2,v3.

Although you could find them on the MSFS start page, another way is to read the rough description and try and find the airfield without a big sign in the sky, just from looking at the chart.

Here is the chart for first airport in first package (I hope somebody's phone isn't ringing day and night). 50 airfields and 50 charts in pack 1.

Maybe there are more packs coming as he seems to stop at airfields beginning with the letter 'O'.
