November 9, 20205 yr My MSFS crashed the other day due to some sort of folder corruption, I reloaded from the Store and inadvertently loaded the Basic edition when I had purchased the "De Lux". I discovered this when I restarted MSFS and found only two aircraft available. No worry I thought I just went back and re-installed the "De Lux " edition. Fired it up and I still have only two aircraft in my stable. Can anyone help me retrieve of my "De Lux" edition aircraft or at least reveal where the MSFS Aircraft are stored. Everything else if just fine. November 9, 20205 yr The delux aircraft are encrypted so there is more to it than just copying them. Try adding them form the content manager ? Otherwise you might need to uninstall/reinstall. Edited November 9, 20205 yr by Glenn Fitzpatrick
November 9, 20205 yr You have it, it's just not installed. You have to go into the content manager in MSFS and re-download the extra content. James
November 9, 20205 yr Happened to me also... the initial content only includes two airplanes. The Content Manager offers up the others.. Edited November 9, 20205 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
November 9, 20205 yr Author Sorry for my ignorance but where do I find the content manager? John Rig: Gigabyte B550 AORUS Master Motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT CPU, 32GB DDR4 Ram, Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Graphics, Samsung Odyssey wide view display (5120 x 1440 pixels) with VSYNC on.

November 10, 20205 yr Author Thanks I will have a look in there. John Rig: Gigabyte B550 AORUS Master Motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT CPU, 32GB DDR4 Ram, Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Graphics, Samsung Odyssey wide view display (5120 x 1440 pixels) with VSYNC on.
November 11, 20205 yr Author Thanks to I went to my MSFS Content folder ticked all the item boxes and then "told" it to update all. It took a while but all my items were Recovered/Updated. I only wish MS published some Product management information when you buy their products. It is like buying a new complex car without a Car Manual, you don't need strip the car but you do need to find out where everything is and what the buttons are for. November 11, 20205 yr Yep, just happened to me too. Not just aircraft, but pretty much all the extra airports and landmark stuff.
