I'm getting this message all over the place in the menu system after changing an option. I have to cancel out of the menus each time. I've seen it in the weather, airport selection, vehicle selection, and time selection dialogs.

This only happens when using the menus while a flight is active. Exit the flight, and all of them operate as they should from the scenerio screen.

Is it just me or is anyone else seeing this?

what does the message say specifically?  If it's a scenery.cfg message you could always run lorby addon manager and check if you have redundant scenery entries and get rid of 1.

It has to do with the weather.  Go to weather tab and click fair skys then the error will go away and ASP3D weather will reload.  It has do with overlapping clouds, I think.  Any which way it works for me.

Ditto Darcy.  If using ASP3D you can also simply delete the cloud layers in the Weather UI, and you may have to delete several times in certain circumstances.  Good news is that once this is done I have not had to do it again.

In some cases, I wasn't messing with the weather options. So you're saying a weather related issue can cause problems in the vehicle selection and sound menus (just had that happen) as well? I'm willing to try anything, though. I've never seen anything strange or unusual in a flight sim before.

Ok. I'll try it. Thanks

So far, so good. I have no idea why a weather setting could impact the other setting groups. Thanks again.

Of course the flight I had working properly after doing that resulted in a P3D hang instead of a crash. 5,1 is gonna bring out the beast in me. Grrrr....
