Utah Parks Tour

Our tour of Utah Parks starts at Canyonlands Airport (KCNY) and ends at St George Utah Regional (KSGU).  In between we will fly over and through seven National Parks including:

  • ·         Arches National Park
  • ·         Canyonlands National Park
  • ·         Glen Canyon National Recreation Area
  • ·         Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument
  • ·         Bryce Canyon National Park
  • ·         Cedar Breaks National Monument
  • ·         Zion National Park

There are three freeware scenery addons that are an improvement over default

Arches National Park, Utah - Devils's Garden Area

Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah - v2

Zion Canyon National Park, Utah

The route is 301 miles in length with six landings.   I will fly the Rob Young mod Beechcraft Bonanza with turbo normalized engine which will help in the high altitude airports.

Recommend Departure time of 2:00PM local so that we can experience the sunset as we finish (5:00pm).

Estimated Flight Departure Time:  Wednesday 1800 UTC

If it gets any better than that, I want to be there! Super flight.

We didn't see you, were you trailing along behind?

Join us on Teamspeak next time. 🙂

On my oŵn-multiplayer flying is a next step for me!

One small step for xxd09 (you'll get some stick for that name!) one giant step for RTWR Multiplayer

Got it as a “handle” from Pipex Dial -a long gone email provider-many years ago

I kept it and remarkably I get no insalubrious spam in my inbox-I wonder why?

I did manage to capture the group take off from Escalante.  You know, the one where someone lost directional control and went off the runway.  I barely made it through the wind shear.

Buzz, you beauty! You could find yourself with a job for life!

Two things, 1: Whoever was shining a torch on your TIR, tell them to stop it!

2: You really want to grab the Prop mods from HERE

Thanks Ron.  I appreciate the group flights as I can stop struggling where to decide to fly.

If Tuesday's update includes 1m elevation data, I am going to have to fly this again, but from West to East late in the day with the sun at my back for best effect.
