Noticed on my Content Manager the following statement, "Newer Game Version required to update" following 747-8, 787-10, A320Neo, A5, Beechcraft Baron, Beechcraft Bonanza and others

Core Content mandatory packages says up to date

Navigraph and FBW A32NX say Custom Content

Checked version 1.10.11

MSFS preformed update wjen I launched programme this evening and I can find no further update on Microsoft Store

Can anyone explain the message please?

I have noticed this too. It could be for content update that will come later on

We always see this the last days before a new version is released. On Tuesday when we get update #7 the messages will disappear.

It is just an indication to what will be updated in the next drop.

This is a known thing that happens just before every update as they start to prep the backend for rolling out the update. 

Check back in the Content Manager after the update, a lot of these will self-update, a handful (like the Japan content) may need to be manually updated in the Content Manager.

It's Tuesday Evening here in Liverpool and the Sim updated when I launched it this evening.

They are a bit early this time. It is not scheduled to update until Tuesday 24th.

It was only small update, sure it was only Kb not Mb or even Gb

But you are still on version 1.10.11, right? I am not sure what is included in the update you have seen.

There c were a couple of NAV updates, a few fir aircraft, one fir Flyby wire A320 and one about the power of the 787 engine being reduced. Also lightning on a clear sky being fixed

That was update #6 that was released November 10th. What you are seeing now in Content Manager is the preparation for update #7.

Things are moving quickly so it is easy to miss some of them.

Strange, it updated last week and nothing updated when I launched the sim last friday

today when I opened fs2020  it would not load. went past the updating  blinked once and black screen. tried 3 times same results. shut down computer restarted . once again still will not open. has been updating ok each update. anyone else having this problem.

I tried a few minutes ago after a fresh reboot and I'm still on 1.10.11.0. 

Why is it thought patch 7 will be available today (Tuesday the 17th)? I was thinking it should be around now just because the Nov 5th patch (#6) was available for download around the 10th? So was thinking the Nov 12th update should be around the 17th, but that's just guessing on my part? Was there more concrete information on download availability? 

I am SUPER eager to see if the FPS improvements mentioned in the roadmap video are in this next patch? Or the end of the month patch that will come with the US/North American content improvements?

Some people seemed to see a very small update (26KB) of a single file in the sim without any change to the version # which may just be the updater being weird or a tiny 'tweak' to the current release.

Update 7:  USA World Update will be next Tuesday, the 24th.  The things showing up in the Content Manager as 'new update required' are packages that will update at that time.

Yes that is all correct. People talking of an experienced update today tues 17th, mean a tiny update that came after the large one a few days ago. I got that update today (Steam edition) and it took 10 seconds. The one a few days ago took about 5 hours on my system (slow internet). Both of these updates are 1.10.11.0. I suspect Steam forgot one file and had to add it on.
