List of all aircraft that work in MSFS2020

Featured Replies

I just got my new computer rig and installed 2020 a few days ago. Very impressive in my view! I really don't have time to go through all of the 1000s of topics in this forum, so would appreciate if someone can steer me to a list of all of the a/c, free and payware that are compatible with the sim.  Thanks!

My system specs: Intel [email protected] - 5.2 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, 32GB  DDR4  RAMNoctua NH-D15 CPU Cooler,1TB Seagate SSD, 4TB Seagate HD, Windows 10, Asus 32 inch monitor, Saitek Yoke, Throttle Quadrant, Rudder Pedals and Trim Wheel     Sims: MSFS2020      Preferred Aircraft  Black Square Bonanza, and Baron, A2A Comanche, PMDG DC-6, Red Wing L1049

I recall only seeing a small handful.  Three are from Carenado.  At least two of those are broken or partially broken by prior MSFS updates.  There are a variety of performance and feature enhancement mods for the default aircraft.  Best to ask here about the default aircraft you are most interested in, or at least the type.  Narrow down the request a bit to get someone to take the time. ex. general aviation, turbo prop, business jet, airliners.

Thanks, that's a good suggestion. I am primarily interested in GA.

Load up the TBM 930, awesome plane and works well in the sim, I fly nothing else, logged over 200 hours in it without one single problem!

Ones that work?  Hmmmm

I've got probably half the payware planes so far.  Carenado is working on a fix for their 3 which currently CTD.  Dino's MB339 is fun but with my joystick (and many others), the acft is extremely touchy using elevator input.

There's a Jabiru that is kinda a lite product but seems to please people looking for basic flight.

Rob Yound did a marvelous Beech Bonanza update - which is kinda inop with Asobo's latest buggy autopilot work.  Still I'd recommend looking at that (search this forum it's free)

There's also some nice freeware mods by Working title - g1000/3000/G3X and CJ4

I second Robert’s mod and if you fly VFR it’s still great using AP in climb, cruise and descent and hand flying approach and landing in the pattern!

As far as I'm aware, payware you have: Mooney M20, Cessna 182T, Piper PA-44 Seminole, Kitfox, Cessna L-19 Bird Dog, Long EZ, Aermacchi MB 339, Aerolite 103, Jabiru 160/170, Eurofighter Typhoon, Bleriot X1, Cri-Cri. Read the reviews, some are a bit ropey, others are pretty good; some are only available via web stores and not the official in-sim market, most of these can be found on Simmarket.

A few payware nearing completion include the Beech 99, Piaggio P149 and Antonov AN-2.

Freeware, you can convert pretty much anything you like and there are a lot of them with varying degrees of compatibility, some of which you can download (be aware that some of these are not with the blessing of the original developer). More interesting are the freeware efforts to tart up the default aeroplanes such as the Cessna 152 and the Bonanza.
