December 7, 20205 yr Stayed away for the last 3 months and put this game aside for that time to just sit it out and wait a bit, for some fixes...so many it seems have still not come though. Still no replays, sounds like there's still a/p issues, weather issues and atc issues. One question though as I haven't seen any mention of it...has the flight director been fixed yet so that it works without the a/p turned on? Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons

I would not expect replay until sometime in 2021, and probably later rather than sooner. There have been improvements to Live Weather. Airport surface winds, temperature and pressure now come from current METAR, but clouds and precipitation still come from the forecast model. I don’t use the default ATC, but I don’t think there are any changes yet. An ATC upgrade is on the development roadmap for early 2021. No change in the flight director - it still does not indicate manually- commanded lateral or vertical mode changes with the AP disconnected. December 8, 20205 yr Hi guys, on friday I shoud receive my boxed copy of FS2020 from Aerosoft, I choosed the boxed due of my slow connection (20 Mbps), and I'd like to know if there is any possibility that the latest box contains some of the updates from ASOBO. Thanks Mauro

Thanks Mauro Aerosoft would be the better source for this info, however I rather suspect the DVD will only contain the initial download and that you'll need to download the subsequent updates yourself. That said, my connection is even slower than yours and I manage ok although I normally wait to run the larger updates early in the morning e.g. about 6am. You might be best waiting for early in the morning at the weekend to run your catchup update(s). Give people power to really test their personality.

Aerosoft said (on Twitter I believe) that even the newer print run of boxed copies include the first version of the simulator, which required a 20GB download to be brought up to date on launch day. Now the download should be even larger, though I do not know the exact size. If you go through with the installation and download process, if possible please let us know how big the download has to be. It would be useful information for others who might have a similar question to yours. EDIT: I just found it actually, this is in response to a question regarding the second print run which took place in September. Edited December 8, 20205 yr by ChaoticBeauty
December 19, 20205 yr Hi, sorry for the late reply, I bought the Premium Deluxe on 10 DVD, installed (around 5-6 ours, but now I did a full copy on a 128 GB USB Key for the future), and then it took other many hours to download the 48 GB, part because my internet is only 20 Mbps, part due to three stops during the download. luckly, restaring the program resumed the download from the point were it was stopped.
