December 4, 20205 yr I'm sorry, but if it takes until "2021-2022" to put gliders in a "flight sim" that's just a sad state of affairs. I take that to mean end of 21, beginning of 22. In other words, hire more people. In don't understand how you expect to keep people focused on your product if you keep telling them no. No glider, no choppers. I mean I love what we have, but.....it just feels like you need to pick up the pace of development a bit. Edited December 4, 20205 yr by Waldo Pepper
December 4, 20205 yr I just wish they would show some love towards getting their “hybrid” metric system working properly. Not like more than half the planet uses QNH in aviation. Is no one outside continental USA using this sim? Right now it is so half baked. FSX had it correct right out the gates at launch. 😔 GregH Intel Core i7 14700K / Palit RTX4070Ti Super OC / Corsair 32GB DDR5 6000 MHz / MSI Z790 M/board / Corsair NVMe 9500 read, 8500 write / Corsair PSU1200W / CH Products Yoke, Pedals & Quad; Airbus Side Stick, Airbus Quadrant / TrackIR, 32” 4K 144hz 1ms Monitor

So they are no longer doing a beta testing branch? That’s not good, it will just lead to a massive number of game breaking bugs when they release the patches. Coming Q1-Q2 2021 according to last week's Feedback Snapshot. It does not appear now because a couple of threads with 300+ votes from the Wishlist that kept getting ignored for several weeks were finally added this week, pushing that one out of the top 24. It is likely they are still proceeding with the beta branch plan.

December 4, 20205 yr That video of the making of the planet for the sim, really shows the sheer magnitude of this simulator. Its unprecedented and should bring you a new foundation of appreciation and respect for what they accomplished. We compare our traditional sims based on an approximate 10+ year development time, plus a number of enhanced addons, and yet this sim has accomplished so much more in 5 years. What will it look like in another 5 years? Alot of things to get fixed and ironed out, but I dont think theres doubt it will get done. It just takes time. Theres alot of resources, but they are not unlimited and theres no flick of a switch. CYVR LSZH I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS z690 ROG STRIX Gaming RTX 4080 Super,

December 4, 20205 yr I really would like to know more about the ATC phraseology. I know for some people it is really important that they use the exact sentences as real atc but imho that should be low priority. The functionality is WAY more important. It doesn't matter how atc says something if it is simply wrong. For me there are 2 key points that should be improved asap: Vectoring approaches and Being able to hear the ATC communication from other players as well as callouts on Airports without atc coverage. Shouting into the void sucks. This need sto be combined with atc recognizing Multiplayer traffic as well. I know there are some difficulties with possible griefing but there are ways to mitigate this. This would add tons of immersion. And before the VATSIM fans shout thir usual mantra like always: Tell me when Vatsim controllers can direct AI traffic.
