November 21, 200619 yr Hi guys, I will keep it brief, as the title says has anyone got an addon Boeing, Airbus or other Commercial jet working in FSX yet? November 21, 200619 yr >Hi guys,> I will keep it brief, as the title says has anyone got an>addon Boeing, Airbus or other Commercial jet working in FSX>yet? >>Cheers>DalI have the Overland package working, but the ones like PMDG, LDS which uses .dll's to control their systems will need updates from the developers. FPS of the Overland planes, are also better than FS defaults! Captain Sim's 757 also can run in FSX with patch already available (No systems) but performnce is said to be much worse than FS Defaults, although you can't beat it for visual detail! November 21, 200619 yr Dal,The answer is yes.. Aerosim,50N,Overland, CLS.Carl Carl PC AMD Ryzen R7-5700G (8-Core) processor), AMD Radeon RX 6600 Graphics 8GB/ 2TB HD + 500GB SSD, 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, Win11 _____________________________________________________________________________________
November 22, 200619 yr The CaptainSim 757 FSX update looks great and performs horribly. I can get 14 to 19 fps with default FSX A321 and B737800 default VC's. I can get nearly that with the FS9 Flight1 Super MD80, althought the VC click points don't work yet (patch not released yet). The super80 actually flys super if not better in FSX otherwise. THe Captain Sim FPS hit in the same exact environs as all the above go from 14-19 to 3.9 and I am not kidding. At night, it goes to 1.0, and that's inexcusable. Randy Jura, KPDX
November 22, 200619 yr CLS released a patch for their Airbusses.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/161707.jpgI added great camera views for it. Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
November 22, 200619 yr Hi Randy,I'm a KPDX simmer as well, Cheers. :-beerchug I'm also having the same problems with Captain Sim B757. My system is as follows:Intel D 945 (Dual Core) (3.4mHz)ATI Raddeon 9700 Pro (256 mb)I purchased the Captain Sim B757 in good faith that they would provide a compatible and usable FSX patch. However, this is not the case I am getting 5fps day and 2 fps with all major setting low on my system. All other aircraft are running at 20fps. I am sure the captain sim product fidelty is solid. However, the marketing and malicious manner in which Captain Sim has advertised their product is apalling and inexusable. The captain sim products and history are very good. However, their fraudulent actions in marketing and quality control of this product deem action taken on the customers part. Please Captain sim issue and immediate patch that will make this sim compatible and functional with FSX as a reasonable fps or issue immediate refunds to all victimized Captain Sim B757 customers.Thank you for your quick action.Pager94 BillyBob David M. November 22, 200619 yr Like Bob Randazzo at PMDG says, tools, tools tools. It's easy if the addon is based primarily on MSFS aircraft with a few changes. It's a whole new ballgame when you add different flight dynamics and sophisticated gauges like PMDG or Level-D does.I wont get excited about FS9 until the addons mentioned above are released. All they need are the full suite of SDK's and a little time.
November 22, 200619 yr Hi,Yes, PMDG is the benchmark in FS add-ons. Robert Radazzo a United airlines pilot himself. Knows details count.OBVIOUSLY Captain sim Does not!!!PMDG is working directly with ACES to get special SDS, tools, etc. I sure hope PMDG stays the same. I have been a loyal customer since moving to FS from FLY!.Cheers. BillyBob David M.
