December 17, 20205 yr the KIng Air being my favorite default plane, earlier classic D18 has been released by Carenado for FSX and P3D I think it was last week. Surely the the MSFS will come soon. December 17, 20205 yr Amazing cockpit really well done, and I really would like a Beech 18 twin. However i agree with the conclusions of the review linked. Caranedo are out of touch with current pricing and even If it became available for FS2020 I have trouble justifying that price for what is basically a fun twin. Maybe if it was a Super Constellation I would consider it, but even for a Connie at that price, the multiple other addons you could buy for the same money make the opportunity cost rather high. it would need to be exceptional to justify the price. December 17, 20205 yr Well there is this one on the way for MSFS. Not a DC-3 of course, but it is the catalyst which inspired the DC-3's creation when TWA found that Boeing could not sell the 247 to them because they had yet to complete United's order for sixty of them, and so asked Douglas to design an alternative. Hopefully they'll consider making the early variant with the 'art deco' reverse sloped windscreen, as well as the later more streamlined version, as they both look cool. Been waiting for someone to make a decent Boeing 247 for years, and so this will be a no-brainer purchase for me personally. Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

December 17, 20205 yr I love the Dc3 but I’d have a Beech 18 any day instead, to roam the SE Asia skies. Milton Shupe and team’s Beech 18 was a glorious FS9 and FSX addon and I wish there was one in the new sim. The only thing missing was the Volpar (turboprop) version 😊. Now Carenado ? Hmmm not sure... December 17, 20205 yr Anybody want to convert a Convair? I found a nice one by Brett Henderson and Alejandro Lucena. After quick conversion to MSFS 2020 in the Legacy Converter, the aircraft started up and flew. All it needed was an interior model and a panel. Just for fun, I dropped in the Airbus panel and that was pretty cool, but I couldn't get any of the interior textures to show up, which wouldn't have been so bad but there were no labels on any the buttons. So then I did it the other way around; I put the Convair plane model into the Airbus and in this setup the prop on the Convair didn't spin, but the plane loaded up and flew beautifully, and felt like a real plane in the air. I don't have the knowledge or expertise to pursue it much farther, but it left me convinced that somewhere in the middle of all that was a plane that hit all the numbers. https://imgur.com/RHZbhkdhttps://imgur.com/Mk2SVUmhttps://imgur.com/kUGwFyg
