Hey guys,

On my holiday day, I have some time to do some quality simming.  I just go Premium Deluxe MSFS, and when I go to hangar in the options.  I am unable to change planes besides Robin.  I want to see all what is installed.

I did install everything though.  On other options, I do see the planes but only when I go to Hangar - that is where the 3d model of Robin is shown only.  I do not know on how to change it.

Here's all the planes in the sim.

The hangar is pretty easy, unless you didn't get it installed properly when you upgraded. You select an aircraft and then choose whatever livery you want. After you select an aircraft and enter the hangar, there are three buttons on the upper right. One of them lets you view the exterior model with your joystick, and another lets you view the cockpit. The third button just takes you back to the panoramic view.

Yeah, I had to go to world map - Select a plane and then go back to main menu - go to profile and then use Hangar.  Very confusing, I would have not figured it out - Thank you for explaining.  There should be an easy way to see all the planes in the hangar  - Asobo needs to do that.

@Skywolf Are you saying that when you are in the hanger, there is no button at the bottom of the screen as in dobee51's post above? Click that 9or F11) and you should see the other aircraft to select.

Yeah.  Initially, those options were not there at all.  It was driving me nuts.  I dunno after few restarts - the options showed up.  I have vanilla MSFS 2020 Premium Deluxe install.

so that is all you can do in the hanger? Watch?

Reminds me of when i was training for my PPL....look but do not touch the KingAir and Lear jet in the hanger

Must have been on Santa's naughty list!

You can do one more thing; in dev mode you can take a screenshot to use as a thumbnail.

Another way to change planes in the middle of a flight is from developer mode menu. There you can also go to any ICAO, or set time of day. In the overhead menu hud that appears with mouse movement, you can change the month and weather on the fly (except not in a bush trip). Things are more bright and clear in July than December.

I love how Asobo's up and down arrows change the time of day. You click on UP and it advances 1 minute. Then you click again and one more minute. 300 clicks later and your five hour change is done.

It's like a dishonest referee in a boxing match counting out his favorite fighter: "One....Two... Buckle   My Shoooe....Three.......Four..... Close  The   Dooooor......

Use the mouse wheel..

hmm, that doesn't work here...  I suppose because I reset options controls to where I have to push down the center wheel and turn it to zoom. But turning the wheel without pushing down will tune the radios, but won't zoom. Which makes it easier for me to adjust the dials on all the instruments.

Anyway my mouse wheel doesn't work as normal, like it won't change the time of day
