Bespoke is used by the very high-end tailors (Saville Row etc.) and refers to something made to exceptionally high standards, hand cut and sewn for one individual only, and naturally extremely expensive. Made to measure is used where a standard pattern is adapted to an individual. At least that is how it was explained to me many, many years ago at Harrod's Intel i7 6700K @4.3. 32gb Gskill 3200 RAM. Bespoke is an adjective, which comes from the past participle of the verb bespeak, which has been with us since Old English.
