February 9, 20215 yr I just have a second monitor attached to my system and I keep that off to the side and use it to display LNM or whatever else I may be needing during a flight. No need for any additional expensive hardware beyond a monitor you could easily find for under $200 if you weren't picky. And then you have lots of additional space on your desktop for other uses, too.
February 10, 20215 yr I have LilNavMap and do NOT use any tablet, phone, nor laptop. I just connected another computer monitor to my computer. 32" curved main screen for MSFS, and the 2nd monitor for LNM is a little 24". It's hard enough to read LNM on a 24" screen, a little tablet would be terrible for my eyes. I see zero reduction in framerates with or without LNM running on the same desktop as MSFS. Doesn't hurt performance any as far as I can tell. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
