[FREEWARE] Flight recorder and Replay app.

One thing that annoys me is that when you're watching your replay, sometime's you'll hear strange things like the avionics on the A320 saying retard. And when watching my takeoff, the wheels are missing, and also I can't hear the sounds from the replay clearly because in the background, my plane is still actually flying with its systems on and running. I think the sounds of this will conflict with the replay's sounds.

You can try to turn off "Warning sounds in external view" in MSFS Sound setting.

Are you far from the aircraft? There is a known issue in MSFS where if you are far from the aircraft, the wheels disappears or don't move.

I don't really understand this. The replay tool doesn't play any sound, all the sound is from the aircraft itself. Can you explain it a bit more?

Like for example, when I am watching my replay, I'll hear in the background "retard, retard".

I guess that's because my plane is still actively flying in the background while the replay is running?

There is actually no separate "replay" and "plane flying in the background". The plane is always flying, the tool simply gives the sim the recorded parameters (e.g. aileron, throttle) instead of you doing the same thing during recording. To make sure the aircraft fly on the same path, it also force the aircraft position and orientation back to the recorded value.

If you don't want to hear the cockpit sound, you can just turn off the setting as I mention in my previous reply. 😁

This is a great freeware tool, my only gripe is inability to do a flyby.  Its annoying because I've seen videos of other users where it works so either its buggy or I'm doing something wrong.  No matter which of the options in the drone cam settings I choose, for instance I turn off the "follow" command and enable the "lock" option.  When I hit resume replay the camera just does a 360 and points in a random direction.

Wow, such an awesome tool and it's free!  I just tried the replay and it makes MSFS so much better!  I can't wait until Asobo makes a proper replay.  But until then, this replay app is awesome and it's free.  It does everything you expect a replay tool to do!
