[FREEWARE] Flight recorder and Replay app.

Featured Replies

I downloaded this and literally got it recording easily almost immediately. I posted a quick video on my very first attempt using this software. It is that easy. (The editing took longer than using the replay tool!). I did start the recording and ended it with the engine running though, as was suggested.
I would very highly recommend it.

In order to download stuff from Flightsim.to, do you have to register?

EDIT: Ok, had to sign up for the free Flight Recorder.

Well worth signing up anyway as you can see what you've downloaded and what needs updated.

"signing" not "singing"!

And also what I like about this tool, not a single CTD after few times I tried it. Very impressive. I own other payware and there were like hit and mess with CTDs but this tool is simple and does the job pretty darn well! Highly recommended

What is meant with "fly-by" , here ?  If this is; to see the aircraft passing with a camera which is standing; this is already an option of the drone camera. Option "Lock" (on or off) for tracing the aircraft and  option "Follow" (on or off) for following the aircraft.

Or is there something else meant "fly-by" ?  Happy flying.

Thanks for that I'll try it.  Can it programmed to a simple button press?

Can someone post how to perform a flyby with the drone cam in replay mode?  I know there are two options to follow and lock the drone but no matter what combination I choose it seems the drone cam has a mind of its own??

Thomas Derbyshire

I have found sometimes the drone camera lock can work and other times it flips around all over the place. I’m wondering if it’s to do with the track ir option which makes a difference. Still experimenting though.

Yes, I can! 🙂 I've just done a short video on how to use it:

I find that just turning off Drone Follow and leaving the lock alone does the job. That's what I did in the video above. But, as we all know, this sim has a mind of its own sometimes.

Wow. totally does everything I could ask for. I found a few video glitches but nothing that I wouldn't expect in any recording software.

Now I can watch my landings! Great tool.
