Hi all Im currently flying from Atlanta to Denver and there is absolutely no snow on the ground anywhere. Before the update there was lots. Currently Im over the state of Kansas and I should be seeing at least some. Anyone else seeing this?

Common issue for me too. Is there any mod for changing the scenery to winter permanently? This way you can use Live Weather and there'll be snow everywhere regardless of its inconsistent snow coverage.

With the NHL outdoor game being halted after the first period (and now postponed till later tonight), I decided to fly from Reno to Lake Tahoe airport (KTVL) and there was a very realistic amount of snow on the ground. A stunning landscape (but no ice rink!😄), really beautiful flight.

Now sadly expecting Freesports here in the UK to fail to show the rescheduled 2nd and 3rd periods...🙄

I had this happen today between Indianapolis and St Louis.  At times over Illinois nicely done snow.  Then suddenly green as spring.  Mid flight I loaded Rex WF, injected weather, selected Clear Skies in MSFS, and went through an obvious transition/load.  Then I experienced the same the remainder of the way into St Louis Spirit KSUS.  Back to snow with Rex WF, but then after crossing into Missouri back to spring green.  I could tell I used both engines based some differences in clouds and winds aloft.

The weather's taken a turn for the unrealistic in Lake Tahoe now. I have been sitting on the apron since landing and it's now bucketing down with rain, despite the weather report still showing sunny. Visibility is down to a few metres.

They needed the show to put it on the runways where there's still snow on the ground.

Maybe they decided that if World Update 4 and Sim Update 4 are being combined and moved later in the year, they wanted to get rid of the snow now so it's not winter all through the spring....

I can suggest using Unreal Weather Addon which is quite real,  apart from its name. You can add snow and it is metar based. It needs soem small upgrades but better than native Live Weather.

I was using Unreal Weather Addon but it did not add snow. While using it I would manually add snow, but then the snow would be reset to zero as soon as I entered the next METAR station.

Similar Metar based, but this has in game menu and did not break yet, with the updates. I prefer thisto REX and native Live. It matches best to Vatsim weather , as well.

It reads what metar says and applies it.
