And that looks way better than the current pancake clouds with an OC.

Marcus, you're doing an amazing job, keep on going. I will post a bit more at LM, but those two *deleted* 'babysitters' (how to say this diplomatically?), don't half take the professional shine off what is a fantastic SIM 🤣

LOL.....Now I had to laugh.....

The Sim is really great. I do really like it. But I am always pushing the boundaries....as I know that others do expect also nice visual enhancements.

Performance is really great.....VRAM will surely have their attention as lots posted issues about this.

So, performance, VRAM and Truesky are the big points to convince others  who are still on v4.x

My wish for improvement is for a better implementation of the sloped runways functionality.  You can make it work ok with default assets, but I understand that it's almost impossible to overlay a ground poly over a varying terrain (hence why no Devs have taken advantage of the new feature, opting to remain with full flat airports instead.) MSFS has tools that make this much easier I think.  Perhaps LM should give some consideration to creating a tool that allows quick and easy airport terrain management, to reduce the investment of time necessary.  All the scenery content development tools over the years have been borne from community efforts, and have become standard issue, but it has taken years for them to mature.  I think LM has until PMDG sorts it's word not allowed out and gets add-on aircraft in MSFS, otherwise I can see P3D users further splitting in favour of MSFS (warts and all) which could inexorably lead to the add-on development ecosystem for P3D becoming much smaller and unprofitable completely.  If LM wishes to retain the value of the ecosystem, it needs to help and protect it by implementing features in such a way to make development easy, not hard!

I 100% agree on this. Some weeks ago I opened a topic here at AVSIM about LM delivering features which are hardly used....and some devs chimed in and explained why...

I did not forget this.....I like sloped runways. It looks so great.

But for now I think LM should finish what they started with Truesky.....as this has a huge impact on visual quality, more than sloped runways I think.

As it always is.......Time, money, priorities, technical debts, competitions .....always leveraging those things....is not easy at all.

These are all good selling points, as long as you have the hardware to exploit them (nothing new there though 🙂)

Another recent beef for me is the speedtrees implementation. Up til now I was ok with the dual planar trees, but more recently I'm becoming very dissatisfied with them.  🙁  @Rob_Ainscough where are you? 😉

Your post is utterly lacking in context and you know it is so just stop with the semantics already. I know your specific setup includes all that night lighting you purchased from that individual whom we cannot mention (with good reason as his business is terrible).

So you forgot to add "with a few hundred dollars of add-ons ". I'm talking about default redo.
