Now there will be a new experimental which is experimental autopilot which is dev + custom autopilot+custom ATHR+custom engine model+custom fbw.

That‘s great news. I have been exclusively flying the version with the custom fly-by-wire in the last couple of weeks and love it. However, the autopilot is driving me nuts at times.

That is is also not what I was doing.

I was just trying to bring down Ricardo41's inflated praise of the FBW Airbus.

It certainly isn't rubbish, but he said it has surpassed the systems modelling of Aerosoft Version of the Bus.

And that is just false. It hasn't. Not by a long shot.

I'm sure it will at least be evenly good at some point, maybe even better, but not currently.

Ha...actually it is.  It is on MSFS and FSL is not.  🙂

...and won't be for a very long time.

...and saying, the FBW version isn't there yet is like saying Usain Bolt hasn't caught up with you yet, ha ha ha.

You can sign up for free and talk to the folks working on the project directly.

You know, I have been pointed to this Discord before.  I have an account and I have joined but I find immensely confusing.  I have used the FBW Dev model and have found a few bugs.  But I have no idea on how to report them, where to report them and most irritating even where to find what changes were made.  All I know is that I update every few days with no understanding of what changed, what to look for, and how to report back.

So as an FYI, enter their discord channel at your own risk...

Yep - we're still far from Aerosoft and FSLabs level (although our team does truly appreciate everyone's praise) but given enough time, I'm confident we'll get the plane to a really good, stable point. The main challenges at the minute are perfecting autopilot/autothrottle (along with proper lateral and vertical navigation), finishing and integrating the systems (currently, we have two guys working on electrical and hydraulic systems, respectively), finishing up the EFB (Navigraph and Chartfox integration coming soon), and improving performance.

Please do not contact me via DM for support or help with the A32NX mod. We recommend using our help channel on our Discord.

I'm loving it FBW, keep up the good work!
