December 21, 200619 yr Alas, Lee is long gone. You'll have to spend the money elsewhere. Or, just give me the 10 million and I'll have someone do it by New Year's eve.Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. December 21, 200619 yr It would be nice, wouldn't it!You can use AFCAD right now with FSX, but there are some hoops to jump through to get it to work.Possibly the scenery design project over at fsdeveloper.com will contain some sort of AFCAD-like editor that requires no hoops to use with FSX.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2530 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8, WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
December 22, 200619 yr I just saw a converter in the library the other day, the file name escapes me. You create or tweak the afcad in FS9, then you can export it into the format for FSX.Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
December 22, 200619 yr I agree. Lee was a genious. Unforuntatly, I don't see an AFCAD similar tool being available for some time yet..
December 22, 200619 yr Well, why doesn't some enterprising individual create it and sell it. Sure would be better than EGLL version XXXVII MSFS Premium Deluxe Edition; Windows 11 Pro, I9-9900k; Asus Maximus XI Hero; Asus TUF RTX3080TI; 32GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR4 3600; 2X Samsung 1TB 970EVO; NZXT Kraken X63; Seasonic Prime PX-1000, LG 48" C1 Series OLED, Honeycomb Yoke & TQ, CH Rudder Pedals, Logitech G13 Gamepad
December 22, 200619 yr Lee is alive and doing very well so no need for a Bounty Hunter. In one of his e-mails last month he listed several reasons why AFCAD is not being updated for FSX but the main one being that commitments leave him with almost no spare time. There are 3 different type AFCAD (AFXCAD) style programs in development right now and one of the three is getting very close to release. Lee Designed and Documented an unprecedented program when he introduced the AFCAD/TTool utilities and some of the current design developers want to continue that trend in the new graphical tool.
December 22, 200619 yr Hey Jim!Thanks for the "light at the end of the tunnel" message; hopefully this will come to market soon. Thanks!Sincerely,Dennis D. Mullert Sincerely, Dennis D. December 22, 200619 yr Jim, I've been following some discussion on FSDeveloper, but from what I understand, the scecnery design tool being worked on over there is still a far distance away. Are you at liberty to say who is working on the AFCAD similar tool that is closer to release or where I may be able to locate some further information regarding this software?Cheers,Kael
