Anyway to stop updates.

My MSFS 2020 is now perfect. No more CTDs, smooth , stable and looks great. Like the Billy Joel song goes, " I love you just the way you are". Is there anyway to stop it from updating in the future and destroying what is working so well right now?

No way. You can imagine the mess at the forums with people having different versions with different issues.

And by the way, you made me think about that song. It remembers me Barry White.

I am just looking forward to the first update which does not break something.  I believe it is scheduled for 2043. In the meantime, having just fixed a Wonder Woman version of the TBM930 (despite being off topic) my MSFS is now gorgeous and fully functional.

Love this sim as much as P3D and XPlane and it is well worth the occasional updates complete with bugs. The next one is being released with a can of insect repellent I believe LOL

My System. Motherboard. ASRock Taichi X570 CPU Ryzen 9 3900x (not yet overclocked). RAM 32gb Corsair Vengeance (2x16) 3200mhz. 1 x Gigabyte Aorus GTX1080ti Extreme and a 1200watt PSU.

1 x 1tb SSD 3 x 240BG SSD and 4 x 2TB HDD

OS Win 10 Pro 64bit. Simulators ... FS2004/P3Dv4.5/Xplane.DCS/Aeroflyfs2...MSFS to come for sure.

Is there at least a way of saving the pre-update settings and control assignments?   Mine got messed up in the process.
