I don't think you can import a flight plan from Simbrief at this time, I think you have to manually enter the plan into the FMC.

On the EFB there's a button to select the default state at start-up.

SimBrief Downloader does it automatically for you the path is:- C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\Flight Plans

To load the plan type in ROUTE as eg: EGKKLEPA

Reality Is For People Who Can't Handle Simulation!

Simbrief suggested FL380 today so I went with it as my cruising altitude. Plane stalled out on the climb and I stabilized at FL320, making it my amended cruising altitude. Seems difficult to attain high altitudes, especially with a headwind, unless you climb really really slow.

I noticed that as well but did not have an issue probably because I was doing short flights so the aircraft was not that heavy. I noticed controlling on Vatsim recently that quite a few CRJ pilots were calling me to amend their cruse to a lower altitude because they could not achieve the filed alt.

I typically fly real world flights and will manually input the filed cruise altitude from the actual flight rather than letting Simbrief decide.

Yes I to check FL and Enter a IRL FL.

Or just edit it and drop 4,000ft of the one it gives.

the problem is if you use simbrief for both plans (also the MSFS plan for ATC), where is the automatic gone then when you have to manualy adjust the MSFS plan again or have to ask ATC for a lower cruise FL each flight ?

...iknow it is self torture enough these days using MSFS ATC, cant hurt to much then if one need to ask for a lower cruise lvl each flight or finger arround in that pln file... but come on, we have to start somewhere. 😅

It takes so little time to type the flight plan into the FMC that I dont see the point of importing it thru Simbrief 💁‍♂️
