My VR settings are great and VR works well except that the mouse is nowhere to be found.  I keep losing it, thus making it very difficult to use VR.  Been to a couple of forums, people have the same problem, but no one has figured it out yet.  Anyone have any ideas.  I've tried about everything others have suggested and no solutions yet.  Sounds like some others are as frustrated as I am.

I just press the middle mouse button and it re-appears.

Depending on how the mouse lost focus sometimes win+y will do the trick. There's a complicated dance between win+y and Ctrl-Tab which eventually works for me. Always reminds me of the old Eddie Izzard Ctrl-Print routine

That's about the only thing I haven't tried.  Will give it a go the next time I go to fly.  Thanks

I made it a routine to tap my key for VR, click on screen with mouse, tap OUT of VR, click on screen, re-enter VR. Mouse works, annoying but works for moi

I never lose my mouse in the middle of a session as long as the headset remains the focus. Sometimes it just isn't there from the start or if I take the headset off to make a coffee or something then it's usually gone on return. I think the win+y forces the focus back to the headset

I've had a mouse disappear problem for a log time with HP G2.  I start the game, & wait till the world map, start VR, cover the inside sensor with a piece of cloth material, then the screen goes to the task bar, I click it on the task bar, then put on the G2.

Do you find the crystal at the end?

i set msfs to windowed mode so that I can more easily alt+tab between apps if needed, but the mouse pointer position is slightly off and usually clicks the wrong button, unless I remember to maximise the window

i think it's that your procedure reminds us of playing an old vic20 text based computer adventure game 🙂

Ah, not familiar with that game.  I had the mouse problem with DCS some time back, but it fixed itself.

I bought my dad a Vic 20 back in the day. I remember some kind of 737 simulator on it with just gauges updating at about 2fps 😃

The crystal maze, and old U.K. tv show. Gotta complete a challenge to find the crystal at the end.
