And thats your reply to people that have had nothing but your best intrests at heart to help you out. I work with two programmers at work who have masters degrees in Computer Programming. We have been discussing this issue for weeks. They also thought that MSFS had many stability issues that could cause what I am seeing. One has a brand new $4,000 Origin PC, and he has had MSFS 2020 CTD a half dozen times, while he was just checking it out. He is not really interested in Flight simming, so he just stopped using it after that. So don't try and tell me that MSFS has no problems with stability. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/crash-to-desktop-without-error-message/130085

It is definitely not computerhardware, but it might be related to peripheral equipment, like (USB) controllers. Personally I don't rule out a corrupt x-box profile in my case, more specifically the controller settings in them. I noticed that profiles for controllers I haven't used for months are synced to my local profile after a new installation, even on another machine. Yes I point out all about USB etc....and so did others. MSFS is a stress test for PC's. The PC in my sig below when I got it, had to be returned becasue after spending 10 hours I found out it was the USB that were wrong. I returned it and they replaced theh mobo and all was fine. Death Standing would not run at all and again after spending time i found out it was MSI afterburner and RTSS. PC can be a nightmare. Its far easer to say its the software and yes MSFS is far from perfect. PC GPU can often look fine when you look at GPU temps but with GPUZ, look at mem temps and power draw and clock speed. Then add MSFS to the mix, if something is out..CTD. David Murden. May 6, 20215 yr Good grief, there is tons wrong with this game, you never know what to expect. Many of us have built or bought machines that match or exceed the recommended specs posted last summer. So now what, this no longer applies? It's hilarious watching those always pointing out PC issues, that's an awful lot of people with PC issues then!! Sorry it's a game issue, many issues from the word go and many more to come at this rate.
