May 22, 20215 yr For some reason I have two London Eyes in MSFS at the same location. One is static, the other is rotating. I used to have ORBX London landmarks installed but removed that when I added the MS UK update. Any ideas? Thanks. May 22, 20215 yr If you have 2 Lindon Eyes, you have them installed twice. The moving one is the msfs version and the static one is installed somewhere. I'm suspecting that the ORBX landmarks scenery is still there somewhere First action is to empty your community folder and see if a duplicate still exists. If that solves it, then you need to look at your community addons, but I think the ORBX scenery may not have not uninstalled TBH, so you may need to try uninstalling it again. The Orbx landmarks pack has a configurator that allows you to choose compatibility with the UK update. Run Orbx Central and look for it there.. Edited May 23, 20215 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
May 23, 20215 yr Yes, I had this issue. Like Bert says, you have to install the Orbx version that was rebuilt for the Asobo London update, or you will have two London Eye's. You say you have uninstalled the Orbx version, but this might not have happened correctly, as the only way you get two London eyes is when you have the London world update and the wrong Orbx version still installed. It is worth installing the correct Orbx version on top of the Asobo one by the way; it enhances it further, and Orbx plan some more updates and enhancements for this product in the future. I'm looking in Orbx Central but under the 'My Products' tab I can see 'London City Pack' with the option to install, but no option to choose compatibility with UK update... Righto! Let me check mine. There is an option somewhere but it wasn't obvious. I will report back soon. EDIT: So firstly, thanks to you I found there was an update from 2.0 to 2.1 which I have just downloaded. It is a good update and this is why it is worth having the Orbx scenery on top of the Asobo one, plus they will keep updating it, while Asobo probably won't revisit London for a while. https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/207560-landmarks-london-city-pack-update/ Some nice pics in there! Secondly, in the latest version of Orbx Central, when on the London Scenery page, on the picture of the London buildings, there are three buttons lower right. The central one 'configure' is the one you want (only after download and install). That should do it! EDIT 2: Just to be clear, you have to download and install first before you can configure it for compatibility with the Asobo update. In the configuration, it is a simple choice; Asobo London scenery compatibility or not. If you don't have the Asobo update, it will put the Orbx London Eye in, which is what caused your initial problem. Note, this new configuration feature was only available after a recent update, which you probably didn't have initially.
